Bhoomi Puja is the sacred ceremony of seeking permission and blessings from Mother Earth before beginning any construction, renovation, or farming activity on a piece of land. In Hindu belief, the earth is not merely soil — she is a living goddess, Bhumi Devi, who sustains all life. This ritual is an act of humility, gratitude, and reverence — an acknowledgment that we are guests on her land, and a prayer that the work we undertake on her be blessed with success, safety, and prosperity. No foundation is stronger than the one built with divine grace.
