Garbhadana Samskara is the first and most sacred of the sixteen Shodasha
Samskaras in Hindu tradition. Performed by a married couple at the time of conception,
this ritual sanctifies the act of creation and invites divine blessings upon the unborn soul.
Through Vedic mantras, prayers, and offerings, the couple seeks the grace of Lord Vishnu,
Goddess Lakshmi, and the ancestors to bless their union and the new life they are bringing
into the world.
