Jatakarma Samskara is the first sacred rite performed immediately after the birth of a child — a moment of pure joy and divine gratitude. The father whispers the name of God into the newborn's ear, offers honey and ghee to the child's lips, and chants Vedic mantras to welcome the new soul. It is believed that this ceremony instills positive impressions into the child's consciousness right from birth — a father's first promise, a family's first prayer.
